Facilities

The Computer Science faculty and students use primarily three computer labs. Most of the classes are held in the two teaching labs located at Carver Science building. The department has its own computer lab located in the same building next to the General computer lab. The General computer lab is available to all Simpson students, while the computer science lab is available only to the students majoring in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.

The Computer Science lab has 10 Dell computers and two servers. Each teaching labs is equipped with a Smart Board. You can find more information about the computer labs at Carver Science building at Simpson's computer labs web pages.

The Department of Computer Science is a member of the MSDN Academic Alliance program. The program offers the following software packages available free-of-charge to students:
